At Alton FC, every player deserves to enjoy football in a safe, positive, and respectful environment.

We take safeguarding seriously, for children, young people, and adults alike. Our aim is to ensure that everyone involved in our club feels welcome, heard, and protected. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility - players, parents, carers, coaches, volunteers, and spectators all play their part in keeping our club a safe and supportive place to enjoy the game.

If something doesn’t feel right, speak to someone. We are here to listen and to help.

How to Raise a Concern

If you ever have a concern about a player, coach, parent, or volunteer – please act. You will be listened to, taken seriously, and supported.

You can:

  1. Speak to your team coach or manager.
  2. Contact your Welfare Officer (details above).
  3. Email [email protected] (checked daily, confidential).
  4. Report directly via the FA Safeguarding Portal: Report a Concern to The FA
