Rushmoor Community 1 - 2 Alton Ladies
02 Nov 2026
Alton started the game brightly, moving the ball across the sandy pitch nicely, working patiently to find an opening.
We took the lead after 10 minutes, when Izzy played the ball to Sophie, who then found the run of Teyla who then rifled the ball into the back of the net. We continued to probe and had a few more chances almost going in, with Izzy and Ellie coming close.
A few changes at half time and Alton continued with some neat possession football which bore fruit when Teyla found Claudia in the box with a nice cross to bury home our second goal on the hour. The ladies continued controlling the ball well, but fell behind when a corner snuck in under our defender into the bottom corner. Alton responded well, with Sophie forcing the opposition GK into a good save as the games end drew near.
