Weekend Roundup

⚫️ The U9 Gladiators were in action this morning, and produced another strong performance and win vs Beacon Hill.
The girls played with great effort, skill and teamwork, scoring lots of goals with excellent passing moves. The game was really competitive throughout.
Goals from Evie (2), Chloe (2), Bella, Isla & Maisie.
Opposition POTM - Chloe
Coaches POTM - Evie

⚪️ Bobcats lost away to Mytchett Jaguars today, playing on a tricky pitch. The girls are playing up a league and are growing into the physical challenge.
When we beat the press, the girls played nice flowing football. Our goal, which was an OG, came from a good free kick routine by Layla and Saffron.
Opposition POTM - Molly.
Coaches POTM - Amélie.

🟡 The under 12s Meerkats, beat Southampton Mavericks 1.0 this morning thanks to a well taken goal by Kaiya. It was a really close even game, but the girls stood strong with Jess standing out in midfield. Credit to all the players in the team!
Players player - Kaiya
Managers POTM - Jess

⚫️ U15 Thundercats lost a close fought battle 2-3 to Chineham Tigers.
Going 1-0 down we responded within minutes to bring it 1-1 at half time.
Lots of positives in a physical game where we had lots of possession, moving the ball around well.
Opposition POTM - Molly
Players POTM - Eve, Emelia and Bella
Managers POTM - Amelia, Emily and Sara which just showed what a team effort it was and difficult to pick just one player.

⚪️ Pumas - Not the result we wanted but it was a brilliant game from both sides! Well done to all the girls!
POTM - Myla & Evie

🟡 The youth team went up against Winchester for their first match in Div 2, and did not look out of place.
A 5-2 defeat does not give a true reflection of the game.
Goals this week from Daisy and Caits, and a girl of the game performance from Elsa.
Shoutout to the 5 players making their debut today as well
