Rushmoor Community 2 - 1 Alton Ladies

A big away day challenge this weekend as Alton travelled to league leaders Rushmoor.

The Ladies delivered a true game of two halves! A strong, composed first half saw us play some brilliant football — including a questionable disallowed goal that should’ve had us ahead. 😤⚽️

Rushmoor opened the scoring early in the second half, but Alton answered back in style. Yasmin, picking the ball up deep, drove forward with purpose and unleashed an absolute rocket to level the match! 🚀💥

Despite the momentum swing, Rushmoor found a late winner in the final minutes to take all three points. A tough result, but plenty of positives and character shown across the squad. 💛💪

Alton Ladies Development 6 - 4 Blackfield & Langley

The Devs extended their unbeaten run with an end to end 6-4 win against Blackfield & Langley.

After falling behind to an early penalty, Lexie scored to draw us level before Amelia put us in front from distance. The visitors then got an equaliser of their own before Christina weaved through the defence to score and send us in 3-2 up at the break.

Blackfield drew level again straight away in the second half, but goals from Lucy OG and another screamer from Amelia put us 5-3 ahead.

Another goal from the away team could have led to a nervy finish, but Claire got our 6th goal to seal the victory.
