Match Reports From This Weekend

Another brilliant weekend of football from our talented Alton Girls teams – packed with goals, grit, and great sportsmanship 👏🔥

🟤 U8 Lightning
A thrilling end-to-end game saw Lightning strike with goals from Evie, Bella, Maisie & Chloe ⚡ Smiles all round in a match full of fun and fantastic team spirit.

🟠 U10 Bobcats
A close match vs Camberley Bobcats. We took control in the second half but couldn’t quite turn it into a win. Loads of positives and great play from the girls 🧡💪

🔵 U11 Meerkats – Win away at Clanfield!. The girls battled hard in a physical game and came out on top ⚽ Goals from Giulia, Tilly C, Sophin, plus a ‘top bins’ free-kick from Poppy!

🟢 U12 Meerkats – 2-2 comeback draw at Fleur De Lys! Domination from the start but we couldn’t find the net early. A controversial offside call and a 2-0 deficit didn’t stop us – a late brace from Maddie brought it level! 💚

🟣 U14 Thundercats
A narrow 0-1 loss at home to Chineham Tigers in a fiercely contested game. A well-taken corner made the difference. Special mention to Maisie for bravely returning after a knock. A very even match with some great football on show 👏 Huge respect to Chineham for matching numbers after our injury. ⭐ Amelia – Player of the Match!

⚪️ U15 Pumas – Cup win: Portchester Royals 2 - Alton Pumas 6
A dominant team display sent us flying into Round 2 of the Hampshire Cup! 🏆 Goals from Iris, Sophie & Eliza and a great all-round team effort.
🌟 Well done to Joy – Opposition Player of the Match!

⚫️ U16 Panthers
Tough County Cup tie vs higher league Havant & Waterlooville. A strong start but we trailed 0-4 at half time. Down to 10 with no subs, but the girls battled on 💪 👏 Daisy netted our goal after great work from Holly M. Resilience, passion, and Panther pride on full display 🖤🐾
