Alton Meerkats Final

Unfortunately the Meerkats didn't get the result that they wanted, but we were proud of every single one of them and they didnt stop working for one another.

We came up against a very well drilled, tough team who are unbeaten in the league above us.

Mabel hit the post early in the second quarter, with Ruby pulling off some nice saves as well, really even at half time and it could have gone either way.

We looked strong defensively, with some good chances created throughout. The opposition goalkeeper pulled off a great save from Tillys power shot. They scored a lovely free kick towards the end when we were chasing the game.

Alton Meercats were a little upset at the end, but it shows they care and they should be proud of getting to the final.

Thank you to all the support, it was amazing and I know the girls really appreciated it.
