The ladies travelled to Winchester yesterday for the Hampshire Cup Quarter Final.
Unfortunately the result was not in our favour, but we cannot fault the effort the ladies put in, against a very good and very physical Winchester side.
On another day, Lady Luck might have blessed us, as we saw an early effort from Teyla hit the post and a beauty of a free kick from Claudia cannon off the crossbar.
We saw debuts from a new goal keeper Millie who made some phenomenal saves and Arienne slotted in seamlessly at the back when called upon. We look forward to the rest of the season to see their progression.
Players POTM was awarded to Sophie “Wallace” Hall and Coaches POTM was awarded to debutant Millie!
We look forward to hosting Winchester again in the league next week!
