A tough game today against an organised Basingstoke side who gave us a game!
Going into this quarter final missing a fair few players made this a bit more of a challenge today, but my word did the ladies step up and they gave everything they had in the locker! Players playing out of position and through illness showed the desire of our ladies today!
A tense penalty shootout where the advantage swayed from team to team was won with some solid penalties and safe saves from Vicky in goal!
Player of the match today was Katie, who was relentless in midfield! (And everywhere else she covered).
