A good win today for the ladies, who controlled the game throughout against a resilient Pace side who defended well!
A slower opening portion of the game until an utter screamer, and goal of the season contender from Jess got us going.
Good work from the whole squad today, each of them doing the jobs asked of them both in an out of possession. This lead to us taking a 2-0 lead into half time after a good bit of individual brilliance from Dani after a nice pass from Teyla.
A few changes at half time and the ladies started well. Lots of good chances created throughout as well as some outstanding goalkeeping from the opposition keeper! Sophie got our third with scoring direct from a corner, before Caitlin finishing the scoring from a few yards out following a rebound.
Awesome performance from everyone today, with great debuts from Yasmin and Teyla! POTM goes to Tilly for a controlled performance in midfield!
