A windy and rainy first half with both teams putting in a great shift battling hard with some great football.
Went in at half time 2-1 to Alton after Caitlin worked her magic from 2 assists from Dani.
The 2nd half saw a much more dominating performance from Alton who looked really threatening every time they got forward. Another surge from Dani saw Sophie take a perfect shot from outside the box into the top right corner and minutes later a great run from Eva assisted Ania who smashed it in to take it to 4-1. We then gave too much of the ball away and it was 4-2.
The team battled on and Dani ran through the midfield to put a perfect ball through to Eva who finished it perfectly 5-2. Alton on a roll then saw Eva take the ball through the opposition knocking it onto Lexie who was never going to miss 6-2!
Once again Dani earns Player of the Match honors for her relentless battling and the fight she brings …..oh and 4 assists! What a legend ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
