A Lewis Mees save at 5-4 on penalties last night vs Hartley Wintney put Alton through to the next round of the Aldershot Senior Cup.

Alton celebrate Tommy Reffell's goal

The full time whistle blew at 2 - 2 after a strong perfermance from Alton and goals from Trevor Caborn and Tommy Reffell.

Alton's penalties were cleanly despatched by Oli Page, Matt Graham, Ed Dryden, George Bowerman and Scott Sanderson.

A mention also goes to the two Youth players given a call up to the squad: Archie Larkham and George Winkworth.

Next up for Alton is an away trip to Guildford City on Saturday in the league.
