Alton Girls and Ladies Weekend Roundup

15 Apr 2024

Here’s your round up from the girls & ladies fixtures this weekend.

Alton Girls

Meerkats Won v City Ladies U10s Lost
It was an impressive win for the Meerkats, taking on City ladies. A hat trick from Sophin and a goal for Mabel. The team dominated every position and it was a good team performance with a strong individual game from Jessie. Over the last few weeks the team has shown massive improvement, they are all now starting to understand their roles within the team. We looked comfortable throughout the game. Well done Meerkats 👏

Warriors Won v St Francis U16s Lost
A convincing win against St Francis for the Warriors. It was a strong performance passing the ball well going into half time 6-0. The team continued to dominate in the second half and continued scoring, finishing with a 12-1 win. Lilly and Jasmine did a great job sharing the goal keeping. Ellie May, Sophie P, Amellia and Willow all scored 1, Sophie H with 2 and a double hatrick for Molly. Nice work warriors 👏

Panthers Lost v Clarendon U14s Won
The Panthers first game in 3 weeks was a challenging trip to Wiltshire to play the team 2nd in the league.
A real test against a defensively excellent opponent led to us unfortunately being on the wrong end of a 3-0 score line.
The opposition chose Holly M as their girl of the game 👍
We go again on Monday night against Hartley Wintney. Good luck for Monday!
