Saturday 3rd February

Meerkats W v Hedge End Rangers U10s L
All the girls were excellent today & carried out their roles with confidence. Good goals from Isla, also some strong performances from Abbie, Jess, Nell & Jessie. It really was a great team effort and thoroughly deserved. Communication amongst the team is good & the girls are really excited to be playing.

Pumas 4 v Alresford U13s 1 (Friendly)
The Pumas had a fantastic win in a friendly against Alresford, a division higher than our girls. A hat-trick from Ariana & one from Falon gave the Pumas a 4-1 victory. Super performance from every girl.

Panthers 1 v Lee Rangers U14s 0
A 1-0 away win for the Panthers today, in a very challenging wind off the Solent. An own goal with the last kick of the match giving the girls all 3 points. A real credit to every single one of the girls for keeping on going all the way to the end, but also for their exemplary sportsmanship not over celebrating the victory due to the circumstances of the goal. Holly M was chosen as girl of the game by the opposition, our girls chose Aimee. An assist for Jasmine who took the corner that ended up in the back of the net.

Warriors 9 v Clanfield 1 U16s (H)
Playing Clanfield for the second Saturday on a row. The performance was a TEAM effort with every player making a contribution. 4 Goals & an assist for Molly, 2 goals & 2 assists for Sophie P, a goal & 2 assists for Willow, a Goal for Sophie H & a 1st goal for Laura, the warriors turned out 9-1 Victors. Special mention has to go to Laura not only for her goal but for her general play overall at right back. She had a fantastic day! Can’t overlook Molly for another hat-trick & a storming performance by Willow. Really great work again, going from strength to strength & remaining on 100% points so far this season

Sunday 4th February

Youth 1 v Caterham Pumas U18s 1
A hard fought 1-1 draw against the team 2nd in the league for our last game of the season. Molly scored one on the best team goals of the season.

Liphook Ladies v Alton Ladies (Friendly)
A cracking game today where both teams played some great football. A joy to watch. Liphook took their chance and went a goal up just before half time.
The next 45 minutes were nail biting as the teams battled hard with great end to end football, Liphook sealing the win.
Goals today for us from Jodie & Eva. Coaches player of the match goes to Eva.
It was a pleasure to host Liphook Ladies who gave us the opportunity to test ourselves and we wish them the very best with the rest of their season.
