Here’s your round up from the girls & ladies fixtures this weekend.

Sunday 6th January

Alton Meerkats v Gosport Falcons U10
Meerkats lost to Gosport. The girls played really well, with a well taken goal by Sophin.

Alton Thundercats v Southampton Womens U12 - called off

Alton Pumas v AFC Portchester
The Pumas bounced back from their finish in 2023 with an emphatic 8-1 victory at home to AFC Portchester. A very well structured and determined performance with hat-tricks from Ariana and Ruby and goals from Eliza and Falon as well.

Alton Panthers v Clarendon Juniors
First game of 2024 and what a way to start - a 2-0 win. A calm, composed and controlled performance from the girls this week. Goals from Caitlin and Sophia, assists for Holly L and Lily. A superb performance from all 14 Panthers.

Alton Warriors v Basingstoke Town
Warriors had a friendly against Basingstoke. A 4-0 loss against a team playing a division. The score definitely doesn’t reflect performance as the girls played their socks off! It was good game for our goalkeeper Lottie to show off her skills, she made some excellent saves!

Sunday 7th January

Alton Youth v Fleet Town U18
Outstanding performance from the Youth Team against Fleet who are 3rd in the league. 1 nil down at half time to come back and win 4-2, 2 goals from Ellie-may, 1 from Jess g and a goal from Sophie H. The team were dominant throughout

Alton Ladies v City Ladies
A convincing 2-1 win for the ladies team. Alton ladies put in a brilliant, determined, consistent and dominant performance today against City Ladies and came away well deserved winners with a very convincing 2-1 win. Goals today from Rachel and Jodie.
Alton player of the match chosen by the coaches was Rachel who was outstanding today taking everything from training into the game and some! Well done Rachel
Well done to all our ladies who worked their socks off and left it all out on the pitch. You did us proud.
