Here’s your round up from the girls & ladies fixtures this weekend.
SATURDAY Games
Alton Meerkats U10 (L) v Petersfield town (W). A good performance by the team.
Alton Pumas U13 (W) v Brockenhurst youth (L)
Alton Pumas won 9-3 against a very good Brockenhurst team. Strengthened by a number of our Thundercats we played some wonderful football. 2-2 at half time the Pumas made some simple changes but most importantly they worked incredibly hard as a team, finding the right ball to play multiple times. Five goals from Ariana, two from Ruby and one each for Evie and April. Superb performance from all. We’ll done to all.
SUNDAY Games
Alton Youth (U18) won at Staines in pouring rain 4-2, great team performance goals from Molly, Sophie H and Amelia. Played lovely football throughout.
Millbrook Ladies v Alton Ladies: Making sensible decisions if the conditions make the pitch unsafe. Both teams beaten only by the weather.
