Alton FC Womens and Girls Tournament

Day One

This morning, we kicked off the first day of our tournament with the under 10’s and under 13’s. Once again this year we were thoroughly impressed with the football that was played by all of the girls involved.

Congratulations to our own Alton Pumas two for coming first place in the plate competition. Also wanted to give a special shoutout to goalkeeper Ruby from the Meerkats for keeping a clean sheet, real safe hands there.

This afternoon we welcomed the under 12’s, again the football played was phenomenal! The competition was tight, the competitiveness was even tighter. Huge congratulations to the Alton Thundercats for winning their cup competition, they worked incredibly hard and thoroughly deserved the win.

Every single team today was fantastic, thank you all for coming. Thank you to the coaches for their support of all of the girls and finally thank you everyone who came to watch. Your support carried the whole day!

Also want to add a special little mention for how clean the ground is, thank you trash warriors
