Alton Under 13 Cyclones

Alton Under 13 Cyclones entered the Ash United Football Festival on Sunday 26 May and finished runners up in the Plate competition, losing in the final on a penalty shoot out.
The tournament lasted 7 hours, 18 teams entered the under 13 age group, the Cyclones played 11 games in total, winning 5, drawing 3 and losing 3.
The boys showed tremendous resilience, stamina and mental toughness, recovering from a poor start when losing 2 of their first three games but then playing some amazing football.
Disappointed to lose on a penalty shoot out but the coaches and parents are very proud of their achievement.
