New Wessex Division One Teams
Posted: 29.04.18Following the announcement of the step five and step six allocations by the FA we welcome four new teams into our division next season - Amesbury Town, Newport (IoW) and Petersfield Town who were relegated from the Premier division and, following some internal resignations and loss of main sponsor, Andover Town were also relegated as refusing to accept promotion to step four.
With Andover's relegation and Blackfield promotion the Premier will run with 20 teams and the First division with 19 next season. The make up (subject to confirmation at the Wessex League AGM) is:
