Petersfield Town 5 - 2 Alton Res.
Posted: 26.03.18The Reserves welcomed five of Clive Ventham's youth team in to the fold on Saturday as Jordi Wilson, Harry Rolfe and Joe Mcleod made their first ever starts in men's football while Joe Abel and Liam Knight made up the quintet, all proving they have what it takes to make the step up. However it was the returning Kieran Lenachan that got both of Alton's goals, in a game that due to there own issues was asstensively against Petersfield Towns first team.
Petersfield were three up at half time, before Alton got back into the game, but as Alton pressed they were caught out at the back.
It was a superb performance from the Alton team that on another day would have resulted in three points.
