AFC Bournemouth CST 2 - 4 Alton Ladies
Posted: 19.02.18Alton Ladies travelled to undefeated league leaders AFC Bournemouth on Sunday and put in a top performance to earn a fine victory.
Goals from Nicola Moore with two, Ella Williams and Chelsie Stewart helped Alton secure a fine victory and in the process become the first team to beat AFC Bournemouth this season.
This victory also moved Wayne Fox's side up to third in the table. Not only was it a hard won victory, but the team were awarded the performance of the day by the Southern Region Women's Football League and received a congratulatory email from AFC Bournemouth themselves.
