Alton Youth 1 - 3 Bagshot U21

Updated: 22.08.17

Alton lost this their second friendly fixture, with still a lot of players away on holiday.

That said Alton started well and created an early chance with Liam Knight missing a good chance when one on one with keeper ,shooting just wide after some good work on the left. Soon after Alton did take the lead when knight again broke through the away defence this time he shot across the keeper into the far corner. The visitors then grew into the game and started to get on top, the equaliser came when a poor corner was hit back on target and managed to find its way in. The visitors became more physical and scored either side of halftime.

To be fair the young Alton side did keep working hard and towards the end of the game created numerous chances with Joe Abel going close with a header and somehow the ball staying out when Joe Mcleod seemed sure to score.

Another work out before the start of the season, but lots to work on.
