Baffins Milton Rovers League Cup Replay

We have been ordered by the Wessex League to replay our cup tie extra time victory over Baffins Milton Rovers because with a draw at full time the game should have been decided on penalties without going to extra time!

Although our management on the bench informed the referee that it should go straight to penalties he insisted on playing extra time.

The League’s decision is based on ‘the rules of the completion were not followed’ irrespective, it would seem, as to who was to blame. We appealed the decision which has been rejected.

In the original game two goals from Curtis Thorn and one from Henry Fox gave the Brewers the 3-2 win after being 2 down. The match finished 10 v 9 as three players saw red.
