Reserve Team Management

Posted: 22.07.16

It is with regret that Robbie Clayton has stepped down as Reserve Team Manager due to family and work commitments. The immediate effect is that the Reserves friendly this Saturday against Frimley Green has, unfortunately, had to be cancelled. We will work towards a solution for the new season and offers of assistance can be emailed to jim@altontownfc.com.

Robbie has been a part of the club since, as a 12 year old, he helped out filling the water bottles for the first team. Two seasons ago he managed our Under 21s to a treble in the Aldershot League and last season managed the Reserves to the Wyvern League championship the first such success in the clubs history. So, of course, we thank him for his efforts, we congratulate him on the trophy success he brought to the club, we wish him well and look forward to him continuing to be part of the scene around our new Enclosure.
